Multiple lists and groups

Separate lists for home, the cottage, or a shared flat.

What lists and groups are

A group is your shared space — most often a household, but it can be a shared flat, a summer cottage, or a trip. Each group has its own lists, pantry, and balances. Lists let you separate, for example, a weekly grocery list from a hardware run.

How many groups you can be in at once depends on your plan — ones you created and ones you joined both count. Joining by invite always works: if your plan's limit is full, you simply choose which groups stay active, and your own extra groups are paused, not deleted.

When to use separate groups

Use separate groups when the people and the money are different. For example, a home, a summer cottage shared with relatives, and a shared flat can each be their own group with their own members and balances.
