Record a shared expense

When someone in the group pays for a shared purchase, record it and choose who it is split between. You can add expenses by hand or from a scanned receipt.

• Add an expense and set who paid and who shares it
• Save it to update the balances

Equal or custom split

By default a cost is split equally between the people you pick. When someone’s share is different, switch to exact amounts and enter what each person owes — the total has to add up before you can save.

See balances and settle up

Mealuna keeps a running balance of who owes whom. When you square up, record a settlement in one tap and the balances reset accordingly.

Only active group members appear in the split options.

Shopping across currencies

If you shop in more than one currency, Mealuna keeps the balances straight across currencies so the totals still make sense.
