Yes. The Free plan keeps your shopping list, catalog, barcode scanning, allergy profiles, a synced pantry, and cost-splitting with purchase history — for up to two groups with three lists each, forever. You only pay when you want more groups and lists, meal planning, or store prices.

A Personal plan unlocks the paid features for you. A Family plan unlocks the group's features for everyone in it through a single subscription — so you pay once, not per person. Personal perks, like each member's own group allowance, stay with their own plan. This is Mealuna's own group sponsorship, not a family-sharing feature of the App Store or Google Play.

Paid tiers include a 14-day free trial. The store grants it once per account — once per Apple ID on iPhone, and once per Google account for each plan on Android — so it may not apply if you have subscribed to Mealuna before. Billing is handled by the store you subscribe in, and you can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Yes. Connecting an assistant to Mealuna is a Premium feature — it lets the assistant read your pantry, lists, meal plan and recipes. A connection only reads unless you allow changes for that assistant — tick Allow changes when you connect, or turn it on later in the Mealuna app. Then it can also put meal drafts into your menu plan, which you confirm in the app, mark recipes as your favourites, save, change and delete your group's recipes, add to your shopping lists and tick or remove items, and say what in your pantry has run out or how much of it is left. It can add what you bought — from a receipt photo too — and take stock of the fridge or another place from a photo, after you confirm what it will do. Logging a meal from the conversation is part of the same connection: the assistant hands you a link, Mealuna opens with the entry already filled in, and nothing is saved until you press Log.

The first 500 founding members get Premium at about half the yearly price, for life — €19.99/yr Personal and €29.99/yr Family. The founding price stays as long as the subscription is active. You can switch to the founding price from Settings while places remain; the app tells you before you buy whether the switch starts at once or when your current period ends.
